George W Bush is to lend his support for an amendment to the US constitution which would ban individual states from allowing gay marriage, according to the Chicago Tribune.

Luckily:

It stands little chance of passing the 100-member Senate. Several Republicans oppose the measure, and so far only one Democrat, Sen. Ben Nelson of Nebraska, has said he will vote for it.

I keep thinking Bush can’t get any worse, and then he ramps his rightwing agenda up yet again.
