That sounds like a low sentence, does it not?
Well, consider this.
Joseph Groth had already served one year in prison (one year!) for murdering his first wife – by stabbing her. And he may have stabbed one of his daughters as well.
As Cara says:
So let me get this straight: a man stabbed his wife to death. He admitted as much. Then he served a mere one year in jail. And wait, you’re telling me that he then later stabbed another wife, as though he could just stab wives all he wants and not expect any real consequences? NO WAY!
